I just thought everyone should know that there is a store selling horse/ pony/ FOAL hides on eBay now. If anyone is an eBay member please write them and let them know you disaprove, and let the company selling them know how you feel (respectfully). It isn't illegal to sell them, but ultimately those are a bi- product of the slaughter industry that our Congressmen just agreed to put an end to (at least for the next year)! We must get involved and let others know we will not support or condone the sale of SKINNED PETS! Please let your voices be heard... for the sake of our HORSES.

Some points to remember in reference to this. Congress banned the slaughter of horses for human consumption, not any other purpose. This may or may not be slaughter related to the best of my knowledge there are no kill plants for zebra or tigers. Where on earth do you think tack companies have been getting "natural" tail extensions so popular with show people? Why does every animal abuse case making the news in my area involve "pets" and not livestock?
