Hi All,

I adopted one of the slaughter bound yearlings (SB #13) that was already at the feedlot from United Pegasus and after some transportations mishaps she finally arrived from Canada to her quarantine/training location in Arkansas last week. I must say I really think she is a beautiful Appaloosa and was a lot prettier than her poor little feedlot picture. She (Scarlett) is due for a good foot trimming which will be done once her feet can be handled and she had an infection in her eye that was making it tear up (you can see in the picture) which has since cleared up but otherwise appears in good health. She is currently at a wonderful ranch in Arkansas getting her basic training before she ships to her home her in Georgia. As you can see in the pictures she is still very fuzzy with her thick winter coat, I can't wait to pretty her all up once she arrives.

Katertott, thanks so much for sharing your story and posting the photo! How exciting to be waiting for your horse.

To post a photo, all you need to do is put the IMG tags around the address of the photo (URL).

Like this - just remove the space after img:[img] http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k187/katortott/Scarle...Mara200071.jpg[/img]
