I recently purchased a Percheron mare that has a L within a circle with 116 on her right hip. Does anyone know about this brand? Could she be a PMU mare?

Inquire with the cattleman's association in the state you think she came from. I have a stallion with a hip brand I'm trying to trace. I know where he came from and it was a PMU ranch, but the correspondent from the association there told me the brand was not registered in that state, and the last year it was registered was 10 years before the time this horse was supposed to have been born.
