Anyone can post photos on the UAN message boards - it is simple! All you have to do is find a place to host your photo, copy the image URL (address), and paste it into the image function in a new post.

You can use any hosting service (including your own website if you have one), but here are some different options if you are looking for a photo hosting service:

http://www.picturetrail.com/

http://www.photoworks.com/

http://www.dotphoto.com/

http://www.hpphoto.com/

http://www.fotki.com

http://www.flickr.com/

http://www.Photobucket.com

http://www.hometalkxpress.com/redwalldesigns.htm
Look under "Services" --> "Hotlinkable Photo Albums" --> photo center --> "register"

http://www.filesanywhere.com/

http://www.xdrive.com/

Detailed Directions:

1) Copy the Internet address of your photo. An Internet address (URL) usually begins with "http://www.", has specific information in the middle, and ends with your photo file name - with usually ends with .gif or .jpg. If you find an image you like somewhere on the Internet that you want to see in your post, you can copy the address of the photo by right clicking on it and looking at "properties".

2) Click "Display Image" icon in a new post window. The icon is second from the right and looks like a little photo.

3) Paste the Internet address of your photo in the URL field. Make sure there are no spaces. Click OK.

4) You're done!

Code Instructions

If you would prefer to type in the code directly, it's easy to do it that way instead of using the photo button.

1) Host your photo somewhere on the Internet and copy the URL (same as above instructions).

2) Type the code "". Be sure that there are no spaces.

Here's an example of what it should look like - just replace the parentheses with brackets:
