Hello everyone.. I was snooping around the rescue site & came across this, im glad to find somewhere I can come when I have any questions about "Abby" my new shire mare (whos heavy w/ foal)!! I have owned a few drafts in the past, but never one who was already grown. Abby is very sweet, a little skittish still of things shes probly not familiar with, but doing great w/ coming along in her new 'forever home'.. Anyways, just wanted to say hello & introduce myself....

Hi! Welcome!! Congrats on your new mare :-) Shires are so beautiful. My hubby and I saw one at the Equine Affaire who almost looked like a Clydesdale in the markings but she was bigger and seemed stockier than a Clyde. Beautiful horse.
Do you have any pictures? Who is the Sire of the foal? |
