She is stunning! Thank you so much for sharing your photos. I'd love to hear more about her personality! What does she like to do most at her new home?

honestly, It has been the most amazing time in my life. I have had her since she was 5 months old. she is now almost 3 years and we have come so far. when I think back to how little human contact she had and what little she did probably wasn't that good. she is awesome! Yes, Blue Boy was her dad, doesn't she look just like him???? She is beautiful, I only hope I can do her justice with her training. She is just under 16 hands and I hope she doesn't go much taller! But she is sweetest thing I could of ever asked for. I love her to death!
Hi, She is just beautiful. When I saw her color, I wondered if her sire was Blue Boy. I don't know exactly who my colt's sire is except that he is from Ranch 1. Looking at all of them, I would say Blue Boy is the one most like him. My colt is 3 1/2 now and 17.3!! He has been so easy to work with, we've got about 8 trail rides under our belt and he does just great, even leads the group-with his long legs he outwalks everyone even when he's just meandering! His pictures are on the forum, from a month or so ago. Welcome to the forum!!

I saw your posts and thought the same thing about Blue Boy being his sire with that height already. I am hoping Bella doesn't get that big! I just started riding her in December so we haven't ventured out of the arena yet. I'm still chicken. She is my first baby. Bella is very lazy in fact she likes to trip over her own feet. But all in all I think we will work very well together. Love her personality.
Hi, Yes, they must be related! Cody trips over his big feet at least a couple times an outing!! He is slowly getting better but reminds me of a teenage boy adjusting to new height and big feet.
It's good that you are taking it slow with her. My farrier says to wait as long as possible because they mature slower than light horses. I want him to last for a long time so I figure what's the hurry. Here's a recent shot of him with my younger girls.

He is absolutely beautiful. What a face, and look at those dinner plates (ummm....I mean feet!)
My trainer wants me to lope on Bella, but I am just not ready yet. She is so clutsy I can just see us both hitting the ground. Plus, when I look at her face she just looks so young yet. I really don't know if she is ready.
It's funny you say you want him to last for a long time, I want... me to last for a long time that is why I'm going slow. Bella will get there soon enough, I want to be in one piece when she does!
Thanks for your post it is wonderful to find folks that have sibilings of my girl. Please keep in touch!
Yeah, there is some self-preservation in there too! Another gelding we had tripped and went down with me on the first canter stride a year ago, rolled over my foot/ankle and crushed them so I'm a little less carefree these days. I'm older, have 3 kids and a hubby who want me around I figure I'm not going to canter him until he's around 4 1/2. Hopefully by then he'll have adjusted to his long legs, big feet and have stopped growing!
Bella does have a baby face We always say that about Cody too. He was still doing that baby chewing thing they do when they meet strange, mature horses until about 6 mos. ago which was really funny because he was taller than all of them!
It is really neat to have found someone who can relate to the whole PMU experience and has Cody's 1/2 sister! His mom is now for sale on the UPS website. Wish I could buy her-mare 812 with the funky blaze.

Bella is lovely. She has a very sweet face and such nice looking hooves...lol I know that sounds odd, but I am always looking at feet. She is gorgeous!
