These mares were rescued from a feedlot - destined for the slaughter truck. I don't know that they were every pmu mares, and I apologize if this is not the place to post. I need to get transport home from Washington to South Carolina- or as close as I can get.

Any help will be appreciated. Again, if this is not the place to post, I apologize and invite suggestions on more appropriate boards to post on.

There is a least one rescue group on this board that does transport- Serenity Acres which is based in NM, and they have posted on here in the past. They are leaving on a delivery trip this coming weekend with my horse and some others from ND.

Catch is, they have to have a full load to make a trip. Try contacting them on their website before they leave. If they can't help you, maybe they know of a transporter who can.
