I was wondering if any one has heard of horse adoption grants available to the individual adoptor for adopting PMU horses?

Any luck on the grants? I am still searching for one also. I need a horse!!!!!!!

I haven't heard of such grants, but that doesn't mean that they aren't out there! PMURescue.org, UAN's PMU horse match-making Web site, is the only site I know of that offers an Adoption Incentive Rebate to help offset the costs of transportation.

It's also important to remember that the purchase price of a horse is only a very small fraction of the overall costs of horse ownership. Still, we understand that even small grants can be helpful. Good luck!
