Dear Friends,

I just wanted to give everyone a quick update. The babies all arrived in Missouri this past week and are doing great. They love roaming the new 384 acre farm and have quickly adjusted to the thunderstorms and colder weather.

We hired Tom with 5M Horse Transport to move the remaining 37 horses and we were simply thrilled with the quality of the service we received. The babies were loaded into an 8 x 38 and an 8 x 32 foot trailer were they were able to move around freely. They were then unloaded at a private facility in Lexington, NE called the Horse Motel (another wonderful place with great people) for the night to eat, drink and relax.

If you need to have a horse transported I would completely recommend 5M and you can reach Tom at (507) 360-6178

Everyone arrived healthy and safe, but they were quite happy to hit the ground! We left everyone in a roundpen for the night and then ran them out to their pasture, where they ate grass, played in the creek and rubbed on the trees!

Please remember we still have about 40 beautiful appaloosa yearlings looking for a new home! Once these guys and girls are adopted we will be able to rescue more babies from the farms and acutions. We will be adding all of the available babies to the PMURescue website so they will qualify for the $75 adoption incentive program so please let me know if you are interested in a horse that is not currently listed.
