New here,just saying hi! I adopted a PMU mare three years ago . She was off the a premarin line in Canada. She came to us at age 8,with a rageing uterine infection. She had trust issues,did not want to interact at all . she is now my pocket pal,loves all the attention she can get,and loves me to talk to her into her nostril.!! I still have not tried to ride her,just want to spend time bonding and building trust. Hopefully someday her and I will go for a ride.She is a paint/Haflinger cross,chestnut with white markings. Her personality is basically laid back,but she is quick to panic. If I ride her or not,she has a forever home with us and her other equine friends,a morgan,a Haflinger,an Arab,and the draft cross., so 3 out of 5 are rescues. We use natural barefoot trimming,WONDERFUL!!!! ,many organic supplements,and low carb feed. They are lots of daily work,but my animals are my life,and I would do anything for them.
