What are your thoughts on or experiences with vegetarianism?

Vegetarian Journal sponsors a student essay contest. You do not need to be a vegetarian to enter. You must be 18 years of age or younger.

Write a two- to three-page essay on any aspect of vegetarianism or veganism, based on interviews, personal experiences, research and/or personal opinion. Enter your submission in the appropriate category:

ages 14 to 18; ages 9 to 13; ages 8 and younger.

Winners receive a $50 savings bond.
