I took Premarin until sometime in the 1990s, when I found out about Wyeth's horrific abuse of horses. I asked my gynecologist if I could switch to plant-based HRT. He agreed, and for several years afterwards I took OGEN, until I finally stopped HRT altogether. We had to increase the dose somewhat to keep me comfortable, but I had no side effects.
