Email response from Cheryl Warren, Office of Emergency Management: "The classes will be at the Fire & Rescue Training Center at 16600 Courage Court. There is no cost involved... you may want to bring a note pad to take notes and wear sturdy shoes (no sandals or flip-flops) as you will be on the burn pad from time to time... you will receive a first aid/CPR certificate. After graduation we call on our CERT members in the event the Emergency Operations Center is activated, to help with training exercises, help with outreach programs, and attend, support, and help with other future CERT training classes.
