To anyone in IL/IN looking for a great workshop - the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago and Safe Home Illinois are putting a workshop on - on May 16th from 9 am to 3:30 pm (includes luncheon). Thanks for posting this! This is info we need, because many people forget about the New Madris Fault and ignore earthquake danger. Up here in WI we will feel the shaking and some of my cracked ceiling plaster might fall, but it won't be serious. But when it lets go with a big one ("when", not "if") we will probably lose a good portion of St Louis and Memphis, so responders better be prepaired. I'm attending, and wouldn't mind sharing gas cost with anyone along I-94/294 from Milwaukee to (probably) Ogden Ave.
