Sounds like the perfect place for a tabling event. Are you the guy who was working with the rabbits at the Madison deployment? If so, I supose you will be there with your rabbit rescue. Is there anyone who could have a table for EARS? I could send you some photos of what I do for tabling events if that would help. I'll be having a table at the only safety event in Milwaukee County, May 30. There's usually far more pet events than safety events. Looks like you have a great lin-up of exhibitors. Have fun!

Brian, Thanks for posting this information. I should be back in Indy by then and will definately come by. I hadn't hear anything about it, and I'm a central Indiana resident. So again thanks for sharing.

I have rolled some of the things I've learned from EARS disaster planning into the info we present when at an event. We have checklists on how to create a go-pack for cats&dogs, one for small animals&pocket pets, and one for reptiles.

Many of the pet events I go to include demos of things like agility or Fly-ball. I was flipping through channels on TV tonight and I spotted a new one on Wierd and Freaky on Animal Plannet. In Sweden they have an event that looks like a cross between canaine agility and equestrian show jumping.... for pet rabbits! The owner/handler runs along with the rabbit (usually on a harness and leash) going over jumps on a straight line course. I think this was a speed competetion; there were also competetions for longest or highest jump. Now THAT would make an interesting demo at a pet event!
